I always hear "home school kids are just so strange, anti social, behind" or whatever negative, uninformed opinion givers can think of. It's actually quite the opposite if it is done right. Take a second to read her blog and the stats. Home schooling is NOT for everyone....but for those who chose that for their family it can be such a blessing. Michelle, You go girl!!

Home Schooling
My cousin Michelle has officially joined the wonderful world of Home schooling Mamma's. She made some wonderful points and has some great stats on her BLOG. I often hear so much negative about home schooling your children....probably because I'm a teacher and work in the public school system. My Auntie Sue home schooled all 7 of her children and they are the sweetest, caring, giving and "well adjusted" kids/adults I know. They always were able to make time for family, even when my uncle worked crazy shifts. They were able to learn at their own pace and in their own style. They were able to have learning focus around what the kids interests were (I would have wanted to learn everything through science when I was little). Plus, when we were out there on vacation they were always able to do their schooling and then hang out with us! My aunt even let me do school work if I was there (which I thought was so cool....doing school at home)

Wow, I had to share your blog post with my homeschool group, since you were so kind to praise the work we are doing. God bless you in your journey of motherhood. You are too kind :-)
