The Belli on Christmas Day

Our last Christmas as a family of two.......

Next year will be SOOO much fun!

We didn't have a tree this year to take a picture in front of so we used moms....it was SO beautiful this year! Tall and skinny and full of lights and ornaments. This was after all the presents had been opened....It looked even better before :)

Uncle Micheal's dad's REALLY FAST car......maybe this should be our ride to the hospital :)
Mom got a new front door....super cute with a Texas Star in the middle.
Moms new back porch....Daddy and Michael have worked SUPER hard on it! They even had Michael's dad and crew come one day to help.....super beautiful and will be enjoyed often! Will be a perfect place for the adults to hang out while the kids run around in the backyard.

The Window Wall and the Crib......

You can see her super cute pink and black car seat....in it is a WONDERFUL blanket Miss Becky (Val's mom) made for Stephie Jo. We also have a diaper wreath for the hospital door (that Val made....notice the yellow rose on it for my Aunt Tetti). I have started to pack my hospital bag (the ADIDAS bag) and am getting things ready for the big day...pretty exciting :)
This is a close up of her book shelf and toy baskets. She already has TONS of books....I've been buying them for YEARS! She has some of my old dolls on the bottom shelf (some made by my Great Grandma Wright, some made by my Aunt Tetti and some given to me by mom). The frog on top of the shelf is her humidifier....HOW COOL IS THAT! There is also her video baby monitor....Josh picked that out and his dad was more than happy to get it for him....

Here is a long shot of the window wall.....the dragonfly picture hanging under the shelf is from Sandi.....we bought this house from her and she is my #2 birthing coach (after mom)......she is an amazing woman and I am so blessed to have her in my life! The shelf was free at work (hey, free is good :) I have her Police Mickey on there (that I bought before we were even prego :) and some of her SUPER cute shoes! Auntie Val got us the cupcake shoes and Auntie Kati and Auntie Kimmi got her the mini Uggs....so precious!
A bit fuzzy but this is the close-up of the crib. The bib on the back says "My prince has already come, his name is Daddy".....we HAD to have that one :) I bought it for Stephie Jo on Josh's birthday. The pictures above are my painted belli from Halloween, Stephanie in the sand (thanks to my cousin Michelle) and Josh holding Jeremiah (my cousins little boy)......The two outside pictures will change as Stephie Jo grows....her name in the sand won't (it's just too perfect).

Here is a better one of the crib wall. We have her stroller and bouncer waiting to be opened....and her pack and play that is going to moms house. The crib and pictures look perfect with the dragonflies! It's like they are framing it....Pat (a friend from work) did such an outstanding job!!! This little girl won't be spending much time in her nursery for a few months....but when she does she'll have the CUTTEST nursery ever.....I couldn't be happier! Thanks to ALL who helped out....it was a LARGE group effort :) Love ya'll!!

These are the SUPER CUTE letters Val made me.....I loved them the moment I saw them, but love them EVEN MORE on the wall....it ties everything together!!

This is her dresser and changing table. To the right of the dresser is a clothes hamper that matches the bed. To the left is the shelving unit that Josh doesn't really like....but we needed storage space and it has those great cloth basket things....the colors worked and it's super practical!
See, perfect for organization and something she can use later for her toys :)

Cute, but VERY overpriced hamper....but it helped tie things together :) Plus, I know I'll need a place to put all those dirty onsies....and this makes it very hidden!!

Christmas Eve~Eve

Well traditionally tonight is tattoo night....Josh and I have gone out this night, several years when we were dating and newly weds to get a tattoo. I have several I want to go get...but not until Stephie Jo is here.

Last night we had an open house for Josh....lots of family and friends came to say hi, it was a blast! I don't think I've had a better time at any of our parties. We had Christmas snacks, coffee and cider.....it was a fun evening of visiting (and of course the Cowboys game). I even decorated (a little) for Christmas.....didn't get anything out of the attic though. Thanks to all who were able to stop by!

Stephie Jo is 36 weeks along....considered full gestation. We will start trying to induce labor today...step one, NICE BIG MEXICAN MEAL :) I have a HUGE list of things to try from gentlebirth.org (great website!). My Bradley teacher gave me the website along with some other things to try...we'll see if this little girl is ready to come out. If not, we'll sure have fun trying.......

Josh is off four days...what a blessing! Yesterday we cleaned and had friends over which was great! We have a lazy day today (which we need after yesterday)! Tomorrow is lunch and Christmas Eve service with the Merrill family and then Christmas with the Brooks' Family in the evening. Christmas day will be spent with the morning at the Merrill house and then the afternoon at Kimmi's future in-laws house (they are so wonderful and a GREAT extension of our family). Wednesday was supposed to be our maternity photo shoot but now Josh has to report to the base :( Josh is back to work and I'll be home RELAXING!!! I just may stay in bed all day :)

Stephie Jo's room is ready....took me 5 hours Friday evening to get things washed, sorted and put away. Josh put together her new shelves with super fun colored basket things to help with organization and would come hang things and move heavy stuff for me....otherwise he couldn't help much because I'm TOOOO PICKY when it comes to organization....he was great for support though :) Pictures will be up as soon as the batteries for my camera are charged :)

More Dragonflies and a Belli Update
