The last few days my mind has been going 90 mph! I am thinking about life, choices, priorities, safety and more that I can't remember right now. Here are some of the conclusions I have come to.
Possessions: Overrated. Yes, I love my bed, house, cell phone and such. I just no longer want them to run my life. I have what I need....I can do without what I want.
Kids: they rock and are to be treasured! My heart breaks daily for those who do not experience the full joy of children, and for those children who are not treasured as they should be.
Money: it's NOT the root of all evil if you know what to do with it. Our new simple way of looking at it has been SO freeing!! I actually sleep better at night :)
Family: It's what life is all about. It has nothing to do with blood and it comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, the important thing is that you surround yourself with people who love you and are a positive influence on your life.
Husbands: God sure knew what he was doing when he picked Josh for me.....I am so blessed by his patience, wisdom, forgiveness and willingness to admit we are both human, both have faults and yet we are so perfect for eachother :)
People and relationships: We are all "fixer uppers". Sometimes all you can do is Pray
Well, let me be the first to say that I am a proud dad....proud of you and of Josh, who you are and what you are committing yourselves to. Whatever mom and I can do to help, you know we'll be there.

Well, let me be the first to say how proud I am of you and Josh, for who you are and for the priorities you are setting for your family. Whatever mom and I can do, you know we'll do it.
