Thank God, A family at last.....all together SAFE and sound.
We've had a wonderful first day as a family! Josh has taken SO EASILY to being a Daddy, Stephanie loves him to pieces and I love having the extra set of hands! Last night I slept better than I have in probably 6 months. More pictures to come when I get them from Mom and Grandpa Steve tonight....for now here's the video and a few of my favorites. Much love!
Stephanie snuggled right in and fell asleep! She only does this to me or mom.....she knew it was her daddy and despite a nap an hour before she decided she wanted to take one while her Daddy was holding her.....
After breakfast with everybody at Gamma and Gampa's house we went home. We played out back and then it was time for a nap. We all three took a nap.....but these two slept a bit longer than Mommy. So of course she got the camera and captured some precious pictures of her little family.
Our fist meal at home together.....Taco Bueno. This was actually pretty special because Taco Bueno was our "Date Night" meal before Josh left. We would get it and watch House. It was probably the best dinner I've had in my life :) Look at how Stephanie looks at him.....she loves him so much!

OH MY GOODNESS....I WAS CRYING MY EYES OUT!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love the video and all the pictures...it is SOOOO nice to see Josh home and in all the family pictures with you girls. It is beyond adorable that she fell asleep in his arms and the way she was looking at him at dinner (so priceless). I am so BEYOND happy to see all three of you together and just enjoying some down time...LOVE YOU ALL!

That is so exciting! I loved watching the video and seeing those pictures, so touching! Can't wait to see more pics and hear about all of the good times you will all have as a family.

I am so happy that God has kept him safe this whole time. We will pray that he is able to settle in well with family and friend, as I am sure it will be an adjustment, but a blessed one for sure. ReplyDeleteKristi, What an amazing mom you have been over the last months. I hope you realize what an awesome job you have been doing showing your Stephie how important it is to have a family. You can tell on the video that Stephie instantly recognized Josh as her daddy and that is all because of you! I couldn't help but notice how AMAZING you looked in the video (tears and all). I think it's because you now have a peace about you and a happiness that your family is together again! What can I say. You are one HOT MAMA!!!
Josh, Thank you. Thank you for making sure that my family and my future will be free. I hope you enjoy your new family and fit right back in. Just so you know I have not had the priviledge to meet Miss Stephanie. I thought there should be SOMEONE to meet her AFTER you!!!!! :) Oh, and you in the video! You look VERY young! Too young to have a baby :)
