Let's pick a name

Well we thought we were set on a name for if it was a boy or girl.....but I just can't decide for sure. This is most likely our last child and that makes this my last chance to pick out a name, ugh! It's driving Josh crazy that just as I say, "yes, that name is perfect" I'll throw another name out there.

Here are some names we have mentioned......leave a comment and let us know what you think! You don't have to be a member to leave a comment (grandma, you can do it without logging in. Aunt Sue does all the time....you just to it as anonymous). I can't wait to read them all.....I want to have the name finalized before August 10th (when we find out what is to become of the precious dragon flies, see previous post)

For a boy it's Caleb Edward, done deal. I picked Stephanie and Josh picked Caleb long before we were even married. Edward is my Daddy's middle name.

For a girl we are stuck (well I am stuck, haha!) The middle name is Jean after my moms mom who died when Mommy was 15. Her name was Betty Jean (for some cute pics check out my cousin Michelle's facebook page.

For baby girl's first name we thought we were set....but I can't decide for sure. Here are some thoughts:

If we stick with S (so both kids are SJB):
  • Suzanna
  • Samantha
  • Sherrie
  • Sarah
  • Sophia
If we don't go with S (both kids would just be JB)
  • Madelynne (I have NO idea how I would spell it except the Lynne is my middle name)
  • Alexis
  • Mary
  • and whatever I hear that day that I like, haha!
Share your thoughts on these names or suggest your own.....keeping in mind the middle name is set.

  1. First to reply to your comment on my page....I got the lights at Lowe's and they were CHEAP! They are mix and match...we have a more plain set too for our more boring guests ;)

Ok...now the names. I am not a big fan of Madalynne only because I feel like recently EVERY girl has some form of Madison or Madilynne. I do however like the way it flows with Jean and also the connection with your name. So you may want to say screw the popularity of the name! For some reason Sherrie doesn't sit well with me either...I think it's because it's my MIL's name and I am not a fan! How do you feel about Stella? too much? Either way I am excited!
