We have a walking, talking, climbing and VERY opinionated toddler.....we are loving every minute of it! She is such a joy! She has taught us so much about love and what's important in live.....It has been such a blessing to be her parents! Enjoy these pictures.
I hope they give you a little glimpse of our Paradise :)

OH MY GOSH THAT IS NOT STEPHIE!!!! When I saw that you had posted I thought it was someone elses kid...she looks soooo old. I love the pics of her in her snow gear...way to cute..she looks 2 in those clothes. I love the pic of her standing on the horse with one leg...WHAT?!?!? thats a Jer thing to do. I can't believe that she was climbing the ladder...to funny and it is even funnier that you let her so you could shoot a pic (I do that all the time..haha). Love the pics...they look great with your new camera :).
ReplyDeleteJonathan started doing that on his horse, too. When he started bouncing on it one-footed like that, and that's the only way he wanted to play with it, that's when I said it had to go!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of our favorite crockpot meals -
Salsa chicken
1 lb. chicken
1 can yellow corn, drained
1 can black beans, drained
16 oz. salsa
cumin
chili powder
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Place chicken in slow cooker and dump all ingredients, except cheese, on top of chicken. Sprinkle enough cumin & chili powder on top to season. I normally put just enough of each that I can *see* it. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Put shredded cheese on top and place lid back for another 5-10 minutes, until cheese melts. Stir together. Chicken should fall apart, if it doesn't, shred the chicken.
We like to eat this over rice or in a tortilla as a taco. Sometimes we add sour cream on top.
I get lots of ideas from blogs. Check out www.momadvice.com and www.cookingforslackers.com are two I can think of off the top of my head.
We also do lots of soups, chili and pot roast in the fall & winter.
Do you have huge 1st birthday party plans for Stephanie Jo? :-)
