Another week gone....

So one more week has come and gone....it has flown by!  We have had a productive week!  Stephanie has started waking up at night to eat (which means we are yet again growing :)  Our new washing machine arrived.....MANY thanks to my mom for doing my laundry the past several weeks!!!  Some loads even came home folded :)  I exchanged Stephanie's jumperoo and high chair for some NON-RAINFOREST items.  Yes, I did register for the Rainforest ones and at the time it seemed like a good idea....they are just so bright and I have been staring at a Rainforest swing and bouncy seat for 4 months....I needed a change.  We got a SUPER PRECIOUS horse jumperoo and a polka dot high chair that has all the colors of my Fiesta ware and will match the kitchen wonderfully once it's painted (sometime before Kati's wedding)

My house was nice and clean for company last weekend.....we have successfully trashed it again!  This week has been BUSY and I have  been crazy tired! I didn't realize how much last weekend (graduation madness) took out of me.....I am looking forward to a quiet weekend at home...cleaning, working in the yard and taking a million pictures of my princess.  Should probably grocery shop too (it's been two weeks ad things are pretty bare)

God has been SO good the past few days which is nothing new....but for these things I am especially grateful: Storms have been all around us and MISSED US.  We have gotten the rain, but nothing severe which is good.  I seriously think I have post traumatic stress after the hail storm.....My heart races, I can't sleep, I have nightmares and am just SUPER unnerved whenever we have a bad storm at night.....I WAS NEVER THIS WAY and I HATE it!!!  Praying it gets better when Josh is here....

Work is winding down....only two more Fridays (not counting tomorrow), two more weekends and three more Mondays (one of them we have the day off ;)  When you look at it that way it's CRAZY and I think of all the things I need to get done before school is out!  Oh well, I'm keeping things into perspective and enjoying these last few weeks....being a working mommy still rocks and I want to keep it that way.

Miss Stephanie is STILL not rolling over and I am VERY happy! I would LOVE to see her do it for the first time but had pretty much decided I wouldn't......maybe she's holding out for our weekend and the video camera for her daddy (will keep you posted),  She LOVES to roll onto her side (and I was the first to see that a couple weeks ago).  She rolls from her back to side and then to her back just laughing and trying to eat her hands....that's as far as we've gotten.

Well, I've watched Grey's, had quality time with the husband, checked everyone's blogs (it had been almost a week!) and am now going to go join our little princess in bed (I love her being right there with me and listening to her breath, it's one of the best parts of being a mommy).

Side note: something our pastor says that really hits me and I love...our spouse and kids are on loan from God.  He has given them to use to care for, but they are still His.....He can take them back whenever He wants.

I'm not sure if that makes me appreciate things any more than I already do......but it does give me a strange peace.  Stephanie isn't mine.  She's a Princess because she is the daughter of THE KING and I am just here to take care of her until He needs her back.....I like that ;)

Can't wait to see pictures from this weekend...I love watching her grow. Please take the pictures of the ring and her toes...I loved the idea...I am a toe person also :).
