**Pictures to come**
Goodbye Facebook....it's been a fun run but the last 8 months you seem to have slowly TAKEN OVER and it was time for you to go. Facebook for the iphone was the demise of my spare time (and even my not so spare time). It was a BLAST to be able to catch up with old friends and see what everyone is up to....but do I really need to know what EVERYONE is up to?? No, not when it is taking time away from my kids, my house, my hubby and most importantly my relationship with God (and without that everything is all out of balance!)
I have been on the fence about my relationship with faecbook for a month or two now. I had slowly deleted "friends", pictures, posts and personal information. I had gotten things down to a fraction of what used to be "out there" on facebook. I tried to delete the app from my phone only to reinstall it after a day or two when I wanted to add a picture of our yummy lunch and realized I couldn't do it RIGHT then, sigh. So now I'm off and it feels great (but I do miss it). I have a bare bones profile so people can get a hold of me and so I am still able to search for new friends (like mommies at playgroup that I only catch their name ;) Otherwise I will not be logging on....keep up with our many adventures here (or give me a call, haha!
I never realized how many times a day I checked facebook....until I didn't have it on my phone but still seemed to need to check my phone every few minutes. I also didn't realize how my brain was ALWAYS in facebook mode until I didn't have it and thought of a post......only to realize I didn't have a "wall" to post it on anymore. The last two months my addiction peaked and I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I logged onto my blog.....TWO MONTHS since an update!! That's so not me! So goodbye Facebook! It was fun but I need so much more......
Look forward to more posts and a TON of pictures to come!!! We have been busy and there is so much to share :)

Silly Girls!

This kid LOVES her veggies! It's almost painful to take her shopping becuase she wants to eat everything! It's a good thing I buy organic because she always manages to grab "leaf" or apple before I've been able to wash it! She has even walked up and grabbed a kale leaf and ran......then hid (on the couch) and enjoyed her loot ;)

and she also loves her "chocate" We get these oober yummy vegan chocolate chips with no icky stuff. Her favorite snack is chocolate chips, raw sunflower seeds and raw pumpkin seeds.....love it!

My little family watching Cars while I cook dinner. This has pretty much become a daily event ;)
Mini Photo-shoot at Koehler Oaks
Took a few of the girls while we were out there doing a photo-shoot for a friend. Stephie had a hard time looking at me because Uncle Guykel was right there.....oh well! Better luck next time (which will probably be when it's not in the triple digits!!!)

I love this chubby little face!!! Her mommas-milk cheeks make me happy :)

Sister Baths RULE!!
I love sister bath time for so many reasons.....number one being CONVENIENCE!!!! I stick both girls in, wash hair and bodies and then Stephie very carefully continues to wash Mary's "toesies" for the next several minutes before deciding Mary needs EACH and EVERY toy in the bath at her fingertips....so fun! Mary has since upgraded to the Safety First sit up bath seat....pictures to come! This poor girl wants to sit up SO VERY BAD but just doesn't have the muscles yet, Many thanks to the inventors of the high chair with recline back and the Bumbo....makes for a happy Mary!
PS, Josh did bath time with BOTH girls for the first time Monday when I was sick.....amazing daddy! He said it was a bit stressful but everyone made it through with flying colors. I love doing bath time but also look forward to being able to pass it back off to him so I have a few moments to myself (maybe enough time for a shower, haha!)

Yes her eye is red, no there wasn't soap in it....she had been rubbing it all day so I'm guessing allergy eye, wonder where she gets that :/

Handsome Baby Joe and Little Miss Mary
A few weeks ago we went out to Colin and Kinome's house to play. Stephie and Lily were a blast and had oh-so-much fun together (which is a good thing because they WILL be friends ;) Kinome gave me this OOOOOOBER comfy chair from IKEA and while I was loading it in the car Mary and Joe were chillin in his crib (haha!) Kinome snapped some way cute pics and I "stole" them from her blog. Love these two little munchkins!
Not many April showers, but looking forward to May flowers
We enjoyed the sunshine in April and TONS of time outside! I was disappointed by the lack of Texas Storms.....but we are looking at this coming week with a forecast full of showers, one can only hope! Stephie and I have planted A TON of flowers/seeds and so far all we have it little sprouts......they need a GOOOOOOD soaking rain! We water them but there is only so much watering I can afford :/ If we get some beautiful flowers I promise to take some pics :)
Stephie is potty trained now, woohoo! She decided three weeks ago tomorrow that she was going to go poopy before church....and sure enough she did! We then stayed home about two weeks and just ran around in long t shirts or dresses and it was magic! We are potty trained and even waking up in the morning dry more often than wet, go girl! I was planning to wait until August, guess she told me ;) We do a little "school" time every day or two and she loves it! She feels so big and loves to work on her letter cards! She knows all of her capital letters (thanks Michelle) and now is working on the difference between "mommy letters" and "baby letters". We have some flashcards another homeschool momma gave me and Stephie loves to practice and hold the cards. So fun to watch her learn and grown!
Mary is a GROWING GIRL! She can roll over from her back to front and talks ALLLLLL the time (wonder where she gets that ;) She is very strong and is always trying to spit up. She is a drooling machine.......I'm sure her teeth are doing something because she slimes anything she touches and ALWAYS has something in her mouth. Praying breastfeeding helps with teething (since Stephie was on a bottle by this time and teething was NO FUN!)
We are starting the process of becoming licensed Foster Parents through an organization called Covenant Kids. Josh and I always knew we wanted to adopt. We started this process before getting prego with Stephie and then put it on hold until we were done being prego. We are not done and look forward to growing our family through adoption. I have an amazing support group of Mommies who have walked this road before me using this organization and their situations are VERY close to ours as far as kids and home life.......so blessed to have their wisdom and encouragement! Details to come as we get them......as of now we are in our second phase of paperwork and start our classes late June.

Here are a few fun pics of our little family from this last week. Can't believe how fast my girls are growing!
Stephie (above) and Mary (below) both at 4 months......man Stephie had a TON of hair!

Stephie may look like me but she ended up with Josh's hair! and Mary looks JUST like Josh but ended up with my hair (or lack of!)
Man I love these girls!!!The last of April
My silly girls! Below are pics of Stephie and Mary at the same age.....so fun! MAN Stephie had TON of hair at 4 months!!!!

Mary is the picture in the middle.
Despite changing this it keeps coming up sideways.....this is her first big "poopoo in the potty" moment! She was SOOOOOO proud of herself! I made her stay on the potty until I got Josh in there ;)

Playing with her Leapster Tag (thank you Mamaw) at the "new" kitchen desk. This desk was in the kitchen, then the playroom and is now back in the kitchen. Stephie LOVES being able to sit at it and "work".

She was "mix-mixing" with her playdough and kitchen set ;)
Mary was just hangin out in her little seat watching sister cook while Mommy did dishes....so much fun!
Stephie was showing Mary how to "do letters". Stephie pretends to be writing her letters in her little notebook.
Boulder came over to check things out.....he is such a wonderful protector!
Lazy Sunday morning......snuggled up watching Cars (big surprise!)
