Baby Update

Went to the dr today for my glucose test.....it was NOT as bad as everyone had said! Funny thing is I've been drinking orange Fanta the past week (hey, it just sounded good) and that is EXACTLY how the stuff the dr had me drink tasted. I'll get my blood results back at some point next week....hope all is well because I DO NOT want to go on a restricted diet. This is the first time in my life I have let myself enjoy whatever sounds good (in moderation of course).....I don't want to give that up until I have to :)

Time is flying by and things are really getting busy!!! Daddy (Stephanie Jo's Gampa) is painting the nursery Friday and my girlfriend from work is coming over to figure out the Dragonfly designs for the walls Saturday or Sunday. She'll then come back next weekend and paint them. Mom, Dad, Bonnie and I are going to Canton the weekend of November 4th-5th to look at baby stuff (and I'm sure buy some :) The following weekend is my girlfriends shower with the Valdez family coming in town for the weekend :) Mamaw (Josh's grandma) comes down Thanksgiving week which will be GREAT! She was out last Thanksgiving and we had so much fun just hanging out.....so glad she can take off work and come down to be part of the preparations for baby Stephanie Jo. We are having our 4D ultrasound the Saturday after Thanksgiving (will post pictures as soon as we get home :) This will be a special day because it's when Josh will see his little girl. He'll be deployed when she is born so we are doing this ultrasound just the two of us.....then having a viewing party at mom and dads that night for everyone to watch the DVD they give us of out little swimmer. (we can buy extra copies, let us know if you want one).

Once December rolls around things get even busier.....which is good for me, I need my time occupied! I have my pumpkin themed shower December 1st (thrown by Mom and Bonnie). Then I'll be buried in Christmas preparations while Josh is training for his mission in the "Sand Box". I will have PLENTY of help in getting ready for the holidays and the arrival of our little one. Family and friends (you guys) have been AMAZINGLY supportive! I'll probably have to kick people out of my house to get any alone time with Stephanie Jo.....it's been amazing how much everyone is willing to pitch in and take care of the Brooks' girls while our Daddy is keeping us safe from afar.

Well that's about all I have right now :) Know I need to update pictures....the belli is GROWING so much (and fast, it hurts!) Will try and get a few good pictures this weekend of both the nursery and my growing belli.
