Well friends and fam....thanks for your patience with my little blog right now!! I am slowly starting to feel somewhat human again, every week I seem to be a bit better (Praise the Lord!) i actually was able to work in the yard a little bit this weekend which was AMAZING! Josh and I will do a little more this weekend and then the backyard flowerbeds will be ready for me to plant them come Spring (and I can be sure we don't have any critters making their nests in all the dead brush). Tonight we will clean out the garage and attic (meaning he will do all the labor and I will direct him, haha!). Thursday we are going to the Pumpkin Patch as a family and should have some super cute pictures! I went last Friday with my playgroup from church and it was NOT a photo op! The MV (minivan) got stuck in the mud (a huge thank you to the sweet couple who helped push me out), my camera took one picture and then said it didn't have enough battery power and there were a MILLION kids there (most with daycares and schools) so I couldn't really let Stephanie run around.....try being way prego and holding a toddler who VERY MUCH wants to get down and play.....for an hour! We decided it was time to go :) Was great to meet the other momma's though!
The rain stopped here for just over a week and our yard is finally dried out! The dogs are very happy to be able to play outside, I am happy to not have a million layers of mud on my floors and Stephanie is enjoying picking flowers outside :) The rain should return tomorrow....but just for a day (just long enough for me not to have to water my yard :)
We went to the State Fair a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! Josh and I had NEVER been because of the crime down there.......after our experience this year we decided we will never miss it! We went early morning, mid week (turned out to be Sr Citizen Day) and it was amazing! It was full of police, paramedics and a million grandparents....Stephie loved it :) We opted NOT to have the fried butter, we shared a fried PB&J (super yummy!), fresh squeezed lemonade (I had two :), we TRIED fried bacon (threw it away after Josh ate a piece and I had a bite). Josh and I each got a grilled gator kabob to take home for later. We packed super yummy snacks for Stephie (she can try funnel cake and cotton candy next year).
Here are some pictures of the wonderful animals at the petting zoo.....Stephanie loved them! I can't wait to take her to the zoo!

All the little babies were in these outdoor pens....chicks, ducklings, kittens, puppies
and some piglets.

This was super exciting! Stephanie loves giraffes!!
The Longhorn (he was super big!)

This was the craziest thing I have ever seen....a 4 horned Ram (I've never even heard of it!)
