We all went to Kimmi and Michael's house for Halloween. We enjoyed snacks, watching Michael scare the kids and of course....painting my belli :) It was a great night!!

Brooks Family Update

Well the Texas Brooks Family is doing great! This has been a CRAZY week, God is good and everything calmed down for a nice, restful weekend :) This week we bought a new mattress (Josh is having HORRIBLE back problems). The new mattress won't fit on our current bed so we went and purchased a new bedroom set. We also got a couch (since we don't have one). I have decided furniture shopping is THE DEVIL! I hated it!!! Now that it's done I'm excited for our new stuff to arrive (in 2-3 weeks). It'll all be here just in time for Mamaw's visit.....which is good because we'll need someplace to sit :)

The nursery has had it's second coat of yellow paint (Thanks to Stephanie Jo's Gampa). My girlfriend will come over next Friday and Saturday to paint the dragonflies on the walls and then the furniture arrives the following Thursday....it'll be so precious!! I'll post pictures, promise :)

Kati and I hung out with the Valdez Three last night (and the Forsythe's). Was fun to have them in town! They'll be back in two weeks for my shower. It'll be great because Josh took some time off work so he can hang out with Izzy and Joel....Joel is about the age Stephanie Jo will be when Josh gets home so it'll be good for him to see what to expect somewhat.......

Tonight is an evening out with Josh's Highschool buddies......these guys have stayed close and all have super fun wives so we are all able to hang out and have fun......one has a baby girl, one is prego and one is trying.....SO MUCH FUN TO BE DOING THE MOM THING TOGETHER :)
