Happy Bday Stephie!

Stephie had an extra special 3rd bday!! Mamaw flew out from Kentucky and Mum, Auntie J'aime and Vince drove out for her family party.  We had a big Diego party planned but both Stephie and Mary came own with the cold that WOULD NOT QUITE so we had a small family party instead :)

 Is it just me or do these two look alike??? I would say the Brooks' genes are strong :)

 Stephie was SOOOOOO excited that Auntie Mimi's friend Katelyn came to her party! Stephie thinks Katelyn is pretty awesome!

 So excited about her binoculars (they are a big deal because Diego has some he uses to find the animals that are in trouble....just ask her about them!)

Happy birthday big sister! You are my mini me in every way and that is such a special gift!!  You are a super helper, independent yet still so snuggly, you try anything, eat like a CHAMP, love your sister to bits and make me laugh everyday! You are growing into a fabulous little lady who loves her veggie tales, dora, diego and bible stories.  You amaze me at how you can complete the sentences with Daddy when reading your story bible.....May the Lord continue to be a part of your life and you one day choose Him as your savior.

Snow, snow and more snow

More snow....the week or so after the first batch

 Anytime I opened the door to take a pic Boulder had to run out and play...silly boy!! We kept plenty of towels by the back door for when he came in, oye! When all this snow melted we had a POND in our backyard, clearly we need to have it aerated!!

ahhh, fabulous snow! Hope we have more next year, this was GREAT!!!

Besties

Over Christmas break my best friend Valerie came to visit her parents (who live about an hour from me).  We were able to get the families together for a fabulous evening of crazy kiddos an fun mom stories.  Valerie lives 5 hours away so we don't get to see eachother as often as we like :/  This will be changing very soon when they move 3 hours away, woohooooo!!!  This picture is perfect because all the kids are off in their own world!  Also notice her boys are matching as are my girls, hahaha!!  Several people who shooting pictures, hence the kids looking different directions.  Joel and Stephie had a blast outside with the daddys while Uriah and Mary held down the fort inside (where it was warm!)  Love this sweet family and am so blessed to have Val as my bestie.....for 23 years now!!

Happy Bday Mary (a bit late ;)

In the craziness a TON of pictures remained stranded in my camera.  They have now all been rescued, edited and are ready to be posted :)  Many posts to come tonight....Enjoy!!

Happy Bday Sweet Mary! Little Bit turned 1 weighing a whopping 16 pounds, pulling up but not walking, sleeping like a champ, still nursing (praise the Lord) and a growing into a pretty big personality!! She is such a baby still and I am savoring every minute!!

"I'm pulling Papa's weeds with my strong muscles"  Trips to Papa and Gamma's house were a lifesaver when T Man (foster kiddo) was here.  Enough space to avoid fights and a fence to keep kiddos from wandering :)

Mary's first park adventure!! She did great, enjoyed being down in the woodchips, climbing around and of course sliding :)

Bubble time!  Not many bubbles made it due to all the wind but the girls had a blast and were entertained for an extended period of time....happily playing together.  Thanks Papa and Gamma!
